My name is Marisa C., and I am currently working towards a Bachelor's Degree in adolescence education (grades 7-12) at Hunter College so that I may become a mathematics teacher in NY. I've tutored my peers voluntarily through the National Honors Society during grades 9-12 in Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and Physics. I felt fulfilled each time I successfully helped a fellow student understand the material, and wanted to begin receiving compensation for my abilities to help with college expens
