I think I have a unique background. After graduating with a bachelors degree, cum laude, in hotel administration, I decided to go into the jewelry business and operated a jewelry store with my wife for nearly 30 years. Collecting an MBA along the way, I found very interestingly, that my math, reading, and writing skills actually improved as a business owner. As a result, when helpful, I often apply business examples to help students understand the concepts in their school work. I have found
