I started tutoring ESL students about 5 years ago, and really enjoyed meeting and getting to know the students. I worked with various ages and proficiency levels, ranging from a teenage student from Mexico who didn't speak any English at all, to an older adult student from Poland who simply wanted to expand his vocabulary.Recently, I spent about 7 months tutoring two refugee children from Iraq in English as a Second Language, as well as whatever subjects they brought home for homework.
