As a high school English teacher/literacy coach, I have taught for 40+ years in the public schools of Virginia. I have strong and proven skills in all areas related to the typical English classroom: grammar, writing, literature exploration, vocabulary, SOL skill in both reading and writing, journaling, resume creation, college application process, etc. My strongest quality is an ability to relate to teenagers and pinpoint weak areas that need focus.
