I have taught for 8 years in the Clark County School District. Six of those years were in 5th grade. During that time, 4 years I taught all subjects within the 5th grade curriculum and took part in unrolling the Common Core State Standards for our school. I was the inclusion teacher (working in a co-teaching environment for students with and without special needs) for reading, writing, and mathematics. My students made great gains every year I have taught including 4 years of making over 70%
