I have been teaching for 8 years and have extensive tutoring experience for the ACT, SAT, SOLs, and mathematics courses. My SOL pass rates as a teacher are 98%-100% for the Geometry and Algebra 2 SOL. I place an emphasis on conceptual understanding and laying a firm mathematical foundation, rather than "tricks" and "calculator strategies" so that students will be able to continue advancing through math courses at the high school and college level.
