I have been teaching and or tutoring since high school. First in an informal manner I used to help some of my friends understand the concepts they were struggling with. For whatever reason comprehension always came easy to me. What made me exceptional though was my ability to translate difficult material into smaller pieces, that are much more easily absorbed and understood. In terms of specifics I used to help my friend Jason and Pat understand whatever it was we were learning in AP US history.
