I have been a high school English teacher in the Baltimore Metropolitan area for 20 years--teaching all grades and all levels. I am comfortable working with students from a variety of backgrounds, with different strengths and weaknesses. During my time as a high school teacher, I have helped students master basic grammar and essay writing skills and I have also aided students preparing for the PSAT, the SAT and Advanced Placement classes--both the AP Language and AP Literature test.
