I am a graduate of Jackson State University, where I received my Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in English. My research interests are African American Literature, African American Studies, and Women’s Literature. I have taught Freshman Composition courses for almost 6 years. I have worked in some capacity as a tutor or supervising tutors for over 15 years. I enjoy helping students to reach their goals. Education and my role in it are very important to me.
