I am a former Foreign Service Officer and senior business executive who took up teaching after early retirement. I have both an English and social studies credential in South Carolina and California. I have spent several years overseas as a student, a government officer, and business executive. I speak Japanese and Vietnamese.I was a full time teacher in middle school where I taught reading and English. The students in my reading classes increased their reading grade level by 1.7 grades
