My name is Eduardo. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where I completed my bachelor's degree in Industrial Biotechnology at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez. I was recruited by the National Institutes of Health's Minority Access to Research Careers (NIH-MARC) program in order to support and accelerate my transition into my Ph.D. studies.
