I taught Special Education for 28 years. I am a musician and a writer. I also facilitate the poetry session for Staten Island OutLOUD. I believe in working closely with my students, getting to know them and their needs. I like thinking creatively about the problem areas and solving them. I have taught all subject areas in the past, but prefer to concentrate on music and language arts at this time.I am also familiar with the difficulties that students with disabilities can encounter in the co
