I have a B.S. in Oceanography from Humboldt State University (minor in Visual Arts) and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Alaska Southeast. I earned honors from the HSU English department for a perfectly scored writing portfolio. I tutored Calculus at the UAS student learning center while I earned my MAT. I've taught in elementary, middle, and high schools over the years and I've also been a para-educator for children with special needs. I look forward to working with you one-o
