My journey as an English teacher began in Peru, just 10 days after graduating cum laude from the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in linguistics. For the next 5 years I taught English as a second language in Florida and Washington State. During that time I taught students of all ages and skill levels, and I enjoyed learning about their diverse cultures, religions, and languages. My philosophy for teaching is to allow the student to have the maximum time in each session to produce
