Barrett has almost twenty years of experience in K-12 and higher education. She held various roles in the education field. While as a teacher, she taught in self-contained upper elementary classrooms. She was a peer mathematics coach for three years and provided professional development for districts.In addition, she has taught developmental math for a community college.
