Teaching runs in the family! Both my parents are teachers, and so it came very naturally for me to pursue a degree in Elementary Education. I am originally from Alaska and wanted to explore my horizons (and escape the cold!), so I attended a college in Arizona where I received my Teaching Certification, Bachelor's degree, and minor in Psychology. During my years at Northern Arizona University, I was a Division 1 athlete and worked part-time. I know what it is like to have a lot on your plate and
