Thank you for considering me as a tutor. I am in my senior year of studies as an English Education major. I like to teach grammar, spelling, and vocabulary through writing and literature. I have my students keep a journal. I talk to the student to learn her or his interests, then assign writing prompts and help the student select books to read. I also have the student respond to literature through public speaking activities, journal entries in the voice of characters, and graphic organizers
