In the early 2000s I spent two years as an aide in a Math and Science Alternative Education setting. During this time I assisted students with everything from basic math skills to algebra 1. The following year I took a position teaching mainstream math, including algebra 1 and geometry. Since then I have worked as a carpenter, a bookkeeper and in the printing industry.
