Since 1983 I have been involved in education in one area or another. I began as a Teacher's Aide in a 4/5 grade classroom. The teacher I worked with spurred me on to become a paraprofessional, per-diem teacher, substitute teacher, and finally a special education teacher, mentor for new teachers and the only female Dean of students in a diverse, multicultural, bi-lingual inner-city high school in Brooklyn, N.Y. A move back to PA led to teaching in a rural school in the Pocono Mountains.There
