I am a retired elementary teacher born and raised in the New Orleans area. I now live in Ponchatoula. I have taught all grades from K-6 in the public school system. Most of my teaching career was spent teaching first and second graders. I enjoy working one on one with children helping them love to learn. I am very specific on how I teach grammar and how to write sentences to paragraphs. I show various methods to solve math problems to help understand challenging math concepts
