I have been an academic tutor through AmeriCorps for 1 year, serving students of all levels. I have worked with students who are what the schools classify as Far Below Basic and Below Basic level proficiency in Math & English, to raise their grades up 1 level. In some cases I have raised the grades of students from D's in math to B's. I specialize in Pre-Algebra dealing with Cross multiplication of fractions, the times tables, and Elementary Algebra.
