I recently retired after teaching for 31 years. I taught Preschool-3rd grade. I became a Reading Specialist 15 years ago. I worked as a Reading Specialist for 12 of those years. I have tutored many students K-6 both in school and privately. I have had an excellent record of moving students up several grade levels tutoring twice a week over a year's time. I begin by testing and finding out a student's beginning level. I design lessons to support and push them from where they are performing
