As a Ph.D. in U.S. History with a strong writing background, I am a seasoned, confident and passionate educator with six years of teaching and tutoring experience. I seek to help all students succeed, having taught U.S. & European History surveys and advanced History courses alike. While teaching and tutoring, I encourage students to think critically about history, and to consider how the past impacts the present. In short, I seek to engage my students with the study of history, and to help it
