When I began teaching I originally taught children with learning difficulties and found that I liked the idea that children learn in different ways. I also did a lot of tutoring and learned quickly that all children learn in different ways and the key to their success was to tap into that difference and make it work for them. Sometimes i found that the difference was not just academic. Quite often it was the ability to help a child become more organized and more responsible for their own work.
