I have been teaching college English for 18 years and really enjoy doing it. I studied for my undergraduate and graduate degrees in English at The College of Staten Island, City University of New York. Before teaching college, I taught high school English in Staten Island and Brooklyn, New York. I graded SAT essays and tutored students individually and in small groups. I still do that today in my current position. I love to read contemporary literary fiction, science fiction, and young adult
