I have been a teacher with the NY City Department of Education for the past 23 years. For 14 years I taught math at the Middle School level. Prior to becoming a full time math teacher I was the Director of the Steelband Music Program at the school. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education. I am a board certified teacher with LAST and ATSW teaching certification and the recipient of numerous other certificates. I did graduate work at Teachers College
