I graduated from Davidson College with a Major in Anthropology. As a liberal arts graduate I appreciate all subjects and have studied more than one discipline in my college studies. Despite a social science degree I decided to teach science because it is an interdisciplinary unit of study for students and integrates both literacy and mathematics. Education has to be both practical and purposeful and I find that science is a great way to invest students in content and invest students in the futur
