My experience is in teaching Elementary Math and Intermediate Algebra at both Rutgers University and Middlesex County colleges. I was able to achieve a 95% success rate for students passing the Mathematics Competency exam required by these colleges. Passing allowed students the ability to qualify to now enroll in classes they had been previously locked out of. These students could now feel confident as fully enrolled members the college.
