I've tutored students in mathematics on occasion in my undergraduate career. I was a classroom assistant for a precalculus course in which I also tutored students. From this experience, I've crafted a tutoring approach of learning by example. That is, I show how a similar problem or equation is solved, that way we can go through the steps together to see what areas need the most focus.
