For the past five years, I have taught health education courses at San Francisco State University and also served as a writing coach for the Post Baccalaureate students in SFSU's pre-health professions program. Every semester, I guide students to critically think and prepare well written papers, not only to achieve higher grades, but to help them get ahead after college. Last semester, my department chair, for the first time, created an independent writing course and chose me to tutor students
