I am a retired teacher; I taught Speech, English and Journalism for many years. I taught 6th grade through university level.I have taught foreign students who knew no English when they arrived and who excelled quickly. I believe in showing the student where the errors are and leading them to make the corrections. I do not do the work for them. One only learns by doing with guidance.
