Simply put, I have loved languages for almost all of my life. After completing my studies at Middlebury College (Classics, i.e.) and Harvard University (Linguistics), I taught classical languages (Greek and Latin) at Hartwick College in upstate NY for 30 years. Working one-on-one or in small groups with students translating and discussing the ancient texts in these languages has always been a special pleasure for me. Depending on your knowledge of the language, we might read selections from the
