Born in Liberia, West Africa, Chase W. is a self-taught fine artist, photographer, graphic designer, and illustrator. His favorite medium is watercolor, though he’s fluent in acrylic, pastel, and charcoal. Chase was raised by a single parent during a childhood interrupted by a continuous civil war. Such trying circumstances made him very curious about the outside world, beyond his strife-torn country. During this chaotic time the only art medium he was able to use to draw was sticks in the dirt.
