I have been teaching music on all levels for more than 35 years. As an undergraduate, I had a double major of math and music. I have published a book about music which is an easy step by step way to learn music theory in an informal but educational manner. It is also published in Spanish. I have taught music theory and history from the high school to the graduate level. My doctorate in conducting won the Graduate Dean's Award at University of Colorado.
