For the last 2 years I have been a paraprofessional at a k-8 STEAM Academy. Working at a school centered around the key points of STEAM education and project based learning has been a wonderful chance to explore along with the students and teachers how creative expression can re-enforce and enhance the in-depth academic skills the students are gaining. The school features inclusive classrooms allowing me to collaborate with the teachers in creating accommodations to their lessons and developing
