I come from a long line educators, so it was no surprise to anyone when I became a teacher. I started my teaching career with Shelby County Public Schools in Memphis, TN. When I was presented with the opportunity to teach in Nashville public school system, I jumped at it at the chance. Prior to teaching in public schools, I homeschooled my oldest two daughters, both of whom are in advanced classes. Over the last several years, I have taught grades kindergarten to 6th grade. I have always provide
