I love the idea of coming alongside a student (traditional or not) in pursuit of a goal. It might be because I have had so many mentors and teachers come alongside me! Learning is a process and sometimes all you need is a little encouragement--a little guidance, help, organization and inspiration--to get you from mediocre to outstanding.Tutoring began for me in high school helping a younger student with her French homework. I started doing it for money in college at our University's Writing Ce
