Since the age of ten I knew that I wanted to be a teacher. Each successive year along my educational journey only solidified that desire although my end goal shifted from teaching grades 7-12 to wishing to teach at the university level. I first tutored in high school in Chemistry at the request of my teacher who needed someone to help a student who had been out sick for an extended period of time.
