I have a decade of experience in teaching language arts and speech communication. In my most recent full-time teaching assignment, French at Spearfish High School, I led 28 students on a week-long trip to France. I taught for five years as a one-man English “department†at Montrose High School, where I taught all required grade-9–12 language arts courses: grammar/composition, speech, literature, and drama. I also taught two sections of Speech 101 at Dakota State University. I have substituted i
