I have twenty years' experience teaching English in every environment and with every kind of student imaginable. I have taught in a village school in Jamaica, UNC-Asheville, North Buncombe High School, the Juvenile Evaluation Center and at Christ School, a preparatory boarding school in Asheville. My teaching style is experiential as I believe every student has the capacity to connect with literature and to write very well, and I enjoy showing a student how he or she does this naturally.
