I have spent the last 8 years teaching in the classroom. I have taught 5th grade for 4 years, followed by 6-8th grades. Most of my time in middle school has been taught teaching Language Arts and Science. I have a Master's Degree in Teaching from Columbia College and I hold a Type-O3 Teaching Certificate in Illinois, with endorsements in Language Arts, Theatre, Social Studies, and Science. In addition to teaching in the classroom, I have worked with students individually and in small groups
