Hi there!My name is Laura, and I'm a teacher and private tutor. I taught in the classroom for 12 years before having kids and staying home with my two young boys. I've been tutoring in the meantime for a total of 16 years. I feel fortunate to be home with my kids while they are young, but I'm also looking forward to getting back into the classroom in a couple of years. I miss it!I believe the most important thing I can do to help a student is to guide them to be self-reliant and perseverant.
