I have been playing woodwind instruments since I was a school boy 50 years ago. I began teaching privately 30 years ago and I have 17 years experience teaching music in public and private schools as a certified professional educator. I still love to play and teach. I use a holistic approach to teaching music, spending a great deal of time on ear training, reading, and understanding the theory that makes the music interesting. I have been fortunate enough to study with some of the best in the
