After a decade working as a journalist with experience writing and editing professionally, I am working on a master's in teaching in English/language arts at the secondary level (grades 6-12). I have experience working with a after-school tutoring program and recently completed a project working with high school students to improve their writing through vivid descriptions and rich details. My goals are to help students succeed in their classes and prepare for college or entering the workforce. G
