I chose the Arts as my career while searching for a subject in undergraduate school that contained all my interests. During this time as a young adult, I had a memorable year in 1979 when I studied art on a summer-in-Europe tour with Providence College. Our group spent 3 weeks in Italy, a week in France, and a week in England. During this trip I experienced Bernini's Apollo and Daphne in the Borghese Gallery in Rome, Michelangelo's David in Florence, the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican,
