I'm a portrait and documentary photographer, graduate of the International Center of Photography in New York City. I've been working on stories for newspapers, magazines and for non-profits for over a decade. My first roll of film though (I started with b&w film) was lame and completely forgettable. Actually, my first few rolls of film were completely forgettable. But with practice, guidance and looking at photographs my techniques and seeing improved. Family, friends and eventually editors star
