Math and Spanish are in my blood and have been a huge part of my life. When I was in 8th grade I had the opportunity to be selected for an engineering program for Hispanic 7th & 8th graders called "El Ingeniero" which encourages Hispanic kids to enter the science and engineering fields. It was a great experience which led me to obtain my Operations Research & Industrial Engineering degree from Cornell University.
