I am an energetic teacher and PhD student with a passion for people. My familiarity with the fundamentals of English, language acquisition, and writing facilitate my understanding of the various challenges that students of diverse ethnic backgrounds face in the English classroom. My studies in French, Spanish, and African diaspora studies also afford me a worldly perspective of education and the study of language and culture.Teaching high school English for over 7 years has allowed me to learn
