As a Kindergarten Teacher, I taught in a multicultural environment in Elmont. My greatest accomplishment with this class was seeing the students grow into beginning readers. I enjoy teaching the younger grades and challenging them. I truly enjoy teaching from picture books, which are rich in vocabulary and words that challenge the student. Some of the well-known authors I have used are Jan Brett, Marc Brown, Eric Carle, Tomie DePaola, Marcus Pfister and Audry Wood.My goals for the Elementary
