My name is Philip, and I know all about how a little bit of extra help can turn a student's academic career around. When I was in 3rd grade, I had problems learning the rules of writing. I just couldn't understand how much space I was supposed to put in between words, why I couldn't make some words bigger than others, and why I wasn't supposed to quadruple space my journal entries (I had seen a double-spaced document and thought it looked nice). Thus, I was instructed to visit an in-school tutor
